Meet the Counselors – Natasha, Jan & Patty

- Natasha Wrobel
Welcome! My name is Natasha Wrobel and I am the senior community counselor for the Annapolis, Maryland area. I have been a community counselor with Au Pair in America for over twelve years. During my junior year in college I had the opportunity to study overseas in Austria at the University of Graz. Prior to becoming a counselor I was an attorney with the United States Air Force for nine years (I am still a reservist) and had the opportunity to work and live abroad while stationed in Germany for three years at Spangdahlem Air Base. Having lived abroad and studied a foreign language has served me well in connecting with au pairs from around the world in my role as a community counselor. Over the last twelve years I have met so many brave young women from all over the world and so many host families that are truly dedicated to the program and genuinely embrace the cultural aspect of our program. It has been a delight to see their children gain a better appreciation of our world!

- Jan Peedin
My name is Jan Peedin and I have been an Au Pair in America Community Counselor in Maryland, since 1998. My area of coverage consists of Howard County, Carroll County, Laurel, Burtonsville, Brookville, a portion of Anne Arundal County. Typically I am responsible for 50-60 wonderful host families and their au pairs.
I feel privileged to meet and work with so many young woman from around the world. I admire their hard work, dedication, and commitment to the program. They thrive to learn and we learn from them.
I live in Columbia, Maryland and have been a resident since 1979.

- Patty Antreasian
My name is Patty Antreasian and I am a Senior Community Counselor for the Baltimore area and communities north of Baltimore. I have worked with the Au Pair in America program since 1995 and I continue to find it gratifying! My educational background is in Counseling Psychology and Coaching. I enjoy helping people discover what their goals and dreams are.
I am married and have two children who are college age. They live away from home now but I keep in close contact with them. Working with au pairs keeps me in touch with the age group of my own children. My home is filled with pets and art, as my husband owns an art gallery in Baltimore, and au pairs often tell me they enjoy visiting here for cluster meetings.
