Meet the Counselor
Hi, I am Judi Jablonka. I developed the Albany cluster of host families in 1987. At that time, the Au Pairs were all from Western Europe. Now, I have Au Pairs from all over the world. I have met some wonderful Au Pairs and host families over the years. I feel fortunate to be able to say that I have friends from many countries. Being an Au Pair counselor is just one of my careers. During the school days, I am a middle school Guidance Counselor. I am also the parent of two young adults. This program is truly a part of my life. My cluster area includes families that live within one hour of Clifton Park, NY. I have monthly cluster meetings, which every Au Pair must attend. This is the way for Au Pairs to meet new Au Pairs and my opportunity to monitor the Au Pair’s successful adjustment to life in the U.S.
