As time goes on, it can be tempting to become relaxed in the way you complete your duties. This is especially true in the final months of your au pair year. Don’t let yourself get into a routine of not doing your best. Take initiative – don’t wait to be asked, anticipate children’s needs, offer to help when you are sharing “family time.”
