Marin Chinese Cultural Association (MCCA)’s Chinese New Year Celebration Dinner

The event will begin at 5pm. Featured Performances include:

College of Marin Intensive English Program enjoyed a concert in January 2011 from Ondar Khurgulek, world-famous Tuvan throat singer, whose daughter is a student in the program and is pictured in the pink shirt next to him. Students in the program include F-1 international students, J-1 au pairs, and Marin County residents and friends. Registration for Session B starting March 22 is now in progress. Students may select 5, 10, 15, or 20 hours per week for 8 weeks at a cost of $375, $725, $975, or $1175, respectively. Information and schedule at www.marin.edu/iep. It’s time to start thinking about what you will do for the winter semester (starts in January.) Don’t wait until the last minute or the class you want could be fully enrolled.

Check out the education information page and the college website links under education options. There are great options for everyone in our cluster.
Reminder:
Au Pairs and Au Pair Extraordinaires need to complete 6 credit hours or 72-80 classroom hours during their year. Continuing Education Units (8 CEU’s) also apply towards education requirement if you are continuing coursework in your chosen career field.
