Looking for something for your little ones to do on a rainy/colder day? Take a big plastic box with a lid- fill it with rice or dried beans. Put your toddler in it (with the top off!- and give him/her cups, spoons etc. When it is time to clean up, simply put the lid on it and put the plastic box away.

Is it hard to get cooperation at clean-up time?
Turn clean-up time into a game. Try throwing a die; of it lands on “one”, the person who threw it must clean up one item or mess; if it lands on “four”, he or she must clean up four items or messes, and so on.Everyone plays, even the aupair!!!
