Each 4th of July, I feel as if I have failed if my kids do not see an awesome firework display! Living in NY, right outside of Manhattan, it should be easy to see one of the most spectacular shows in the country… but, I have yet to get my boys in to see the Macy’s display. So, I hunt for other options that are a bit less crowded and if we are lucky, just happen to come across some locally. We found some this year at a local park and I felt satisfied that I had met my parental duty as far as Fourth of July fireworks go.
I am not alone. People all over the world search high and low for fireworks. Around the globe and throughout the year fireworks shout out to people with their sounds, colors, smells – and most importantly, their significance. See below for additional thoughts on Fireworks Around the World!
