With this advancement, our au pairs are better prepared to provide outstanding child care to host families and ready to appreciate the educational and cultural aspects of their exchange experience more fully.
Our au pair orientation begins with a robust online course completed in their home countries, prior to departure for the U.S. Upon arrival in New York, au pairs then enjoy a multi-day orientation for in-depth child development, cultural adjustment and health & safety education. This model gives our au pairs the advantage of an enhanced and diversified curriculum before joining your household, along with ongoing education and available resources throughout the exchange.
This is important to our host families, because our advanced support helps au pairs make a comfortable transition to life in your home, and a happy au pair provides the best child care.
