Over the years, the Gesser family has been expanding—to include five au pairs from all over the world! They all recently convened in Paris for a “family reunion,” and everyone had an amazing time. They even rocked matching T-shirts that said Gesser Family Au Pair Reunion 2018. As host mother Brook writes,
“It was an incredibly special trip for all of us. These five young women are family to us, and they are the most wonderful big sisters to our daughters Sadie and Mae. Sadie and Mae were five and 3 when our first au pair arrived. Now they are 12 and 9.
Spending a week together in Paris with Saskia from Germany, Azucena from Mexico, Barbara from Brazil, Carla from Spain, and Revi from Israel really was a dream come true.
We thought Au Pair in America should see these photos and hear our story.”
Thank you to the Gesser family for sharing! We are so happy—but not surprised—that the relationships their family formed with their au pairs has stood the test of time and distance.
