Talk to the host parents to find out if holding the child&#8217;s hand is necessary.\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>-Only go to those homes that are known in the neighborhood to be safe participants.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>-Never let a child go inside the neighbor\u2019s home unless you know the person.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>-Always check the candy before letting the children eat it.\u00a0 Make sure that anything that has been unwrapped, homemade or just does not look safe is thrown away.\u00a0 Ask the parents about this.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>\u2013When driving please slow down, as there will be a lot of children out in the dark.\u00a0 They may not be visible.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>-Talk to the children about safety during Halloween.
