About a month ago I started putting together a treasure hunt with rhyming clues for the kids. The kids really loved it! For the treasure at the end I just went to the Dollar Tree and spent $15 ($5 a child) on small toys and a few candies.<\/strong><\/p>\n

You could also bake something or maybe rearrange the clues so the<\/strong><\/p>\n

last clue leads to the car and then you could take the kids out for ice cream.<\/strong><\/p>\n

You\u2019ve just finished school and it\u2019s been a long day<\/strong><\/div>\n

I\u2019m sure you just want some electronics to play. <\/strong><\/p>\n

But I have a better idea; just wait till you hear,<\/strong><\/p>\n

There are 10 clues for a treasure hunt near.<\/strong><\/p>\n

You must work together to solve all these clues <\/strong><\/p>\n

And then you will find a small treasure for you! <\/strong><\/p>\n

Please take turns and everyone try<\/strong><\/p>\n

Also walk slowly so you don\u2019t fall and cry<\/strong><\/p>\n

1.The first clue is easy; I suppose
\nit\u2019s found where you wash your dirty clothes<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

2. Slide and swings and monkey bars
\nthe next clue is where these things are.<\/span><\/strong>
\n3.. When (child\u2019s name) is dirty, it is quite easily seen!<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

So he\u2019ll (she\u2019ll) enter this room to get thoroughly clean.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

4. This clue is difficult to read, but never fear<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Simply hold this paper up in a mirror <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

(Write a word written backwards here)<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

5. My wrinkly skin is like a dog talking<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

I am long-lived, but you won\u2019t catch me walking<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

6. The next clue, if you are hasty
\nis where we store all things tasty<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

7. The next clue, if you go look
\nis where (child\u2019s name) goes to find a good book<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

8. And now for the next clue that you seek
\nit\u2019s on something with four wheels that goes beep<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

9. Some visitors pause here and strangers announce their reason.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Things that decorate me can indicate the season. <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

10. Find something that comes on a roll<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

You can find it<\/strong> near the toilet bowl.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

11. Here\u2019s the last clue, so please don\u2019t weep!<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Look under the place where (child\u2019s name) will sleeps<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n
