Hi … My name is Lynnette Melbostad<\/strong>\u00a0and I have been an Au Pair in America Community Counselor in the Phoenix area since 2012.\u00a0 My service area is simple — if you are anywhere near or around Phoenix, I’m your gal!<\/p>\n

My family was blessed to have had an au pair (Anne-from France) live with us when our two boys\u00a0were small. \u00a0Years later, my boys are going off to college, but we are still in touch with Anne, and watching on Facebook as her 2 boys\u00a0grow up. \u00a0<\/span>When I started working at Au Pair in America my goal was to\u00a0just “fill my free time” between raising our boys\u00a0and working as a Regional Sales Director in the senior living industry. \u00a0It’s become so much more than that for me!<\/p>\n

I love\u00a0meeting these young women from all over the world. \u00a0Their energy to embrace new experiences and their tireless drive to “see everything” is what makes this job so enjoyable. I embrace the challenge of guiding Au Pairs through life lessons as\u00a0many of them are \u00a0experiencing their first extended period of time away from home. \u00a0Every day is different — whether they want help finding an inexpensive restaurant, suggestions for fun outdoor\u00a0activities to do with\u00a0their host children, or guidance on how to\u00a0balance a\u00a0job with the excitement of sightseeing<\/span>\u00a0— I’m here.<\/p>\n

Equally enjoyable for me is getting to know the host families. \u00a0Our cluster is\u00a0fortunate to have a nice mix of long-time host families and brand new families. \u00a0So,\u00a0whether they need suggestions on how to communicate the family schedule, best practices for auto use, or getting the most out of this cultural exchange, I’m here for that too!<\/p>\n
