Here are some tips for the au pairs tonight. <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-left: .5in\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt\">Adult supervision is essential.<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt\"> Always accompany the children if they are going door to door to trick or treat <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-left: .5in\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt\">Try tick-or-treat-friendly homes.<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt\"> Ensure the children only visit houses with lights on. And, you might  also suggest the houses they visit have some sort of Halloween  decoration on the porch. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-left: .5in\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt\">Stay outside.<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt\"> Make sure the children don\u2019t go inside someone\u2019s house. They can trick or treat on the porch.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-left: .5in\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt\">Remain visible.<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt\"> Dress the children in bright costumes or have them wear reflective strips or carry a glow stick or flashlight. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-left: .5in\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt\">Quality-check treats.<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt\"> Check the candy before they eat it.
