Touch a Truck 2016

Westport Au Pairs again volunteered to face paint and apply tattoos at the Westport-Weston Cooperative Nursery School fundraiser Touch a Truck.  Even though it was raining, we all had a lot of laughs, making the kids happy.  Fede, Jesi, Anika, Theresa, Mira, Kimberley, Flo, Sabina and Natasha created phenomenal works of art on the faces of children who attended the annual Westport IMG_3290 IMG_3292 IMG_3296 IMG_3298 IMG_3299event.

Qi Gong Class at the Westport Historical Society

Au Pairs from Westport, Weston and Wilton toured the Westport Historical Society’s home on 25 Avery Place and then they  viewed their latest photographic exhibition of historic Westport homes then and now.  Afterward we had a special treat.  Director Sue Gold conducted a Qi Gong class, just for us.  Qi Gong means “cultivating the body’s vital energy””; it is a gentle mind-body exercise that helps improve health and overall well being.  The meditative state of mind through regular practice provides powerful mental and emotional benefits, fostering creativity, improved mood and better sleep.  IMG_1663 IMG_1664 IMG_1665 IMG_1666 IMG_1667 IMG_1668
