I attended your webinar yesterday and loved it! The activities were really really great and I actually did the Rheindeer-sleigh-fingerprint-one with my host kids today. The kids loved it and the host mum said it was one of the best crafts she’d ever seen and she’s a preschool teacher.

Westport Mini Maker Faire 2015
Young and old alike had fun making origami puppets at this year’s Mini Maker Faire, a town event that celebrates imagination, creativity, science, math and crafts. Westport Au Pairs volunteered to help fair goers make dog, cat or fox puppets, distributed Mother’s Day cards for children to color and had fun testing the older children’s knowledge of countries and capitals.

Touch a Truck 2015
Westport Au Pairs braved the cold and snowy weather Saturday March 28th to help the Westport-Weston Co Op Nursery School in their annual fundraiser Touch a Truck. Children had an opportunity to explore all sorts of trucks, ride a train, and blow cab whistles and horns, while Au Pairs face painted, applied tattoos and gave the children crayons and place mats to color. It was brutally cold but everyone endured and hopefully the kids had fun!

Au Pairs from Westport, Weston and Wilton gathered Friday February 6th at the Westport Historical Society to see their new exhibit “Saugatuck at Work”, We even got to meet the ghost of the sea captain in the famous mural. Afterwards we toured the Wheeler House, which was built in 1795 and decorated in the Victorian era. The Westport Historical Soceity is Westport’s only museum. They offer many interactive programs for children and adults.
