Clark Memorial Library.<\/a><\/strong> It&#8217;s got a huge children&#8217;s section, and beyond the books, the library has tons of movies to rent and programs to take part in.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/threevillage.patch.com\/articles\/98-watch-an-eagle-flap-its-wings-in-stony-brook\">#98 \u2013 Watch an Eagle Flap its Wings in Stony Brook.<\/a><\/strong> If you&#8217;ve never seen the mechanical eagle in the Stony Brook Village Center, now&#8217;s the time to go.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/threevillage.patch.com\/articles\/91-walk-the-labyrinth-at-avalon-park\">#91 \u2013 Walk the Labyrinth at Avalon Park.<\/a><\/strong> As long as the mild December weather holds up, check out this outdoor treasure.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/threevillage.patch.com\/articles\/90-catch-a-movie-maybe-even-for-free\">#90 \u2013 Catch a Movie, Maybe Even for Free.<\/a><\/strong> There are plenty of children&#8217;s movies playing in the theaters right now, and the library often has free movie showings.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/threevillage.patch.com\/articles\/89-visit-the-long-island-museum-of-art-history-and-carriages\">#89 \u2013 Visit the Long Island Museum of Art, History and Carriages. <\/a><\/strong>You don&#8217;t have to travel to New York City to find a cool museum \u2013 this one is a Smithsonian affiliate.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/threevillage.patch.com\/articles\/74-visit-an-historic-lighthouse\">#74 \u2013 Visit an Historic Lighthouse.<\/a><\/strong> Read up on the history of the lighthouse before you go; the Village of Old Field has a good history on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.oldfieldny.org\/history.html\">its website<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/threevillage.patch.com\/articles\/68-learn-the-history-of-hercules\">#68 \u2013 Learn the History of Hercules. <\/a><\/strong>Another fun outdoor activity to do as long as the weather stays mild.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/threevillage.patch.com\/articles\/things-to-do-in-three-village-53-learn-about-the-setauket-spies\">#53 \u2013 Learn About the Setauket Spies.<\/a><\/strong> &#8220;Spies!<strong> <\/strong>How  a Group of Long Island Patriots Helped George Washington Win the  Revolution&#8221; at the Three Village Historical Society is all about the  Culper Spy Ring of Setauket. Call ahead for hours.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/threevillage.patch.com\/articles\/things-to-do-in-three-village-45-cheer-on-the-seawolves\">#45 \u2013 Cheer on the Seawolves.<\/a><\/strong> Don&#8217;t even try to resist Wolfie&#8217;s charms. Great for kids and teens.<\/p>\n<p><em>Outside of Three Village:<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/riverhead.patch.com\/listings\/atlantis-marine-world\">Visit the Long Island Aquarium in Riverhead.<\/a><\/strong> With seasonal exhibits and both indoor and outdoor fun, it&#8217;s a not-to-be-missed Long Island attraction.<\/p>\n<p>Head to Museum Row in Garden City. Three very different museums all in a row \u2013 the <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/gardencity.patch.com\/listings\/long-island-childrens-museum\">Long Island Children&#8217;s Museum<\/a><\/strong>, the <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/gardencity.patch.com\/listings\/cradle-of-aviation-museum\">Cradle of Aviation Museum<\/a><\/strong>, and the <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/gardencity.patch.com\/listings\/nassau-county-firefighters-museum-and-education-center\">Nassau County Firefighter&#8217;s Museum and Education Center<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/commack.patch.com\/listings\/chuck-e-cheeses-6\">Chuck E.
