This week\u2019s Camp Au Pair<\/strong> theme is Dinosaurs<\/strong><\/a>.<\/h2>\n

Crafts, recipes, activities, and games<\/strong> related to dinosaurs can all be found here on the Camp Au Pair \u2013 Dinosaurs<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0<\/b>pinboard.<\/p>\n

Field Trips<\/strong> can be a great way for kids to learn and have new experiences. IF your host parents are okay with you taking the kids to any outdoor, socially distanced activities, here are a few places to go, that fit this theme:<\/p>\n

  • Laurel Dinosaur Park\u00a0<\/a><\/li>\n
  • Calvert Cliffs State Park<\/a> & Flag Ponds Nature Park<\/a> both offer a chance for kids to search for fossils and shark teeth.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Toys<\/strong> – Many kids have dinosaur toys already. See what your kids have and think of fun, new ways you can play with these toys with them. Imagine taking a plastic dinosaur and making footprints in play dough to form your own fossils.<\/p>\n

    Webcam –\u00a0<\/strong>This NPS Paleontology Lab<\/a> offers a webcam where you can watch paleontologists remove rock from around fossils. The cam is normally working 9 am-5 pm PST, so 12-8 pm our time.<\/p>\n
