There are four experienced Senior Community Counselors supporting Host Families and Au Pairs in our area of Montgomery County:<\/p>\n

Imelda Farrell<\/strong><\/p>\n

Imelda has been a longtime counselor with the Au Pair program.\u00a0 Born and raised in Ireland she loves the international aspect of the program.\u00a0 Imelda has lived and traveled abroad and has a son living in Europe now.\u00a0 \u00a0Imelda covers a large geographical area that includes Gaithersburg,\u00a0 Germantown, Rockville, Olney and Silver Spring.<\/p>\n

Melli Bennett<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"For the past 20 years, Melli has been helping her host families and au pairs in Chevy Chase, Kensington, and Silver Spring to have successful matches together. She is originally from Estonia and is a mom of two high schoolers. After earning a journalism and public relations degree from the University of Tartu, Melli worked for different newspapers and magazines in Estonia as a writer, editor, and editor-in-chief. Coming from a small country, Melli loves to meet new cultures and have first-hand experience with them. In addition to traveling, she likes to spend her free time reading, gardening, and hiking.<\/p>\n

Victoria marks 25 years as Senior Counselor for Potomac, (20817) Bethesda, Cabin John and Glen Echo. With 2 grown sons in London, she empathizes with Au Pairs\u2019 parents with a child abroad. She was Host Parent to James from China (Bullis 2011-2014) who’s still part of her family. From age 15, Victoria studied abroad (like her Au Pairs) in Oxford, London, Arcachon, Beijing, Chenai.
