International Driver\u2019s License<\/p>\n<p>2. Home Country Driver\u2019s License<\/p>\n<p>3. Vehicle Registration<\/p>\n<p>4. Vehicle Insurance Certificate<\/p>\n<p>5. Copy of J1 visa<\/p>\n<p>6. Copy of DS2019 form<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><strong>How to get a PA drivers license<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-118\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.aupairinamerica.com\/pha\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/42\/2010\/09\/Blank-Drivers-License.jpg\" alt=\"Blank Drivers License\" width=\"124\" height=\"79\" \/><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/rcronin.aupairnews.com\/files\/2009\/03\/6.jpg\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"> <\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Follow these steps to obtain your Driver\u2019s License in the state of PA.\u2028 \u00a0After reviewing these steps, please click on the PA DMV attachment \u2028below. This will give you the most up to date information directly from \u2028the DMV. \u00a0<strong>You must have at least 6 months left on your visa to get a Pennsylvania Driver&#8217;s License.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1. You need to apply for your Social Security number in order to get\u2028your driver\u2019s license. Visit this link: \u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/secure.ssa.gov\/apps6z\/FOLO\/fo001.jsp\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">http:\/\/secure.ssa.gov\/apps6z\/FOLO\/fo001.jsp<\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>2. Next, you need to get a medical physical done. Print out this form and see a doctor to confirm that you are in good health.\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.dmv.state.pa.us\/pdotforms\/dl_forms\/dl-180.pdf\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">http:\/\/www.dmv.state.pa.us\/pdotforms\/dl_forms\/dl-180.pdf<\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>3. After you get your physical, begin studying for the learner\u2019s permit. \u00a0\u2028This is a written test that you can take on the computer at a Driver\u2019s\u2028License Center. \u00a0You can click on this link to practice for the test.\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.dmv.state.pa.us\/young_drivers\/crossroads.shtml\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">http:\/\/www.dmv.state.pa.us\/young_drivers\/crossroads.shtml<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p>4. Visit a Driver License Center with: * the completed DL-180 * your visa,\u2028your passport, and 1-94 * Two acceptable proofs of residency, listed on\u2028reverse side of DL-180, if you are 18 years of age or older. * Your\u2028Social Security card. * A check or money order payable to PennDOT for\u2028 the appropriate fee. After you get your permit, you can schedule your driver\u2019s license exam.\u2028 This test will be in an actual driving test in a car. Call \u20281-800-423-5542.
