Mother\u2019s Day ~\u00a0 Celebrated\u00a0 the Second Sunday in May<\/p>\n

Did you know? The first Mother\u2019s Day was May 10, 1908 in Philadelphia.\u00a0 Everybody has a mother and absolutely no one is more special than mom. Mother\u2019s Day is a wonderful day for celebrating the women who helped raise us and turned us into independent, successful adults. They\u2019ve been there for us over and over again, from taking care of our every need in infancy to keeping food on the table, clothes on our back and a roof over our head. Often taken for granted, they are always our strongest supporter and our biggest fan!\u00a0 You can\u2019t do wrong in Mom\u2019s eyes. When you are hurt, or not feeling well\u2026there is no one else that can help you more than Mom.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s the real secret of Mother\u2019s Day: It\u2019s not the expense of the gift that really matters but the thought and time spent on the gift that counts.\u00a0 Having said that what most moms truly cherish the most though is your time.\u00a0 The gift of time is the most precious gift you can give.\u00a0 If you absolutely can not be there, take time for a long phone call. Flowers, cards, candy and gifts are all part of the day but a sincere heartfelt \u201cThank you Mom\u201d goes a very long way.<\/p>\n
