Cultural Fair Highlights. VAO Aupairs in Action!
Congratulations to APIA-VAO aupairs who did a tremendous job at our Cultural Fair/Host Family Workshop held at Glen Echo Park on Saturday, April 9. 
National Library Week- April 10-16
If aupairs have not visited the library with their children, this would be a great week to do so. Check out books to read with the kids, and find out when the libraries offer story hour or other activities. Help older children to discover research opportunities for homework assistance. See the link under Local Out and About.

Is it hard to get cooperation at clean-up time?
Turn clean-up time into a game. Try throwing a die; of it lands on “one”, the person who threw it must clean up one item or mess; if it lands on “four”, he or she must clean up four items or messes, and so on.Everyone plays, even the aupair!!!
