Project Linus

Over 90 Chicagoland au pairs and their community counselors volunteered their time to make over 100 blankets for Project Linus- an organization that distributes handmade blankets to children in hospitals.

Thank you to the aupairs who also donated blankets to The Red Thread Promise, a non-profit organization that provides support for orphans. TRTP has committed to providing for the needs of River of Hope, an orphanage in Haiti, and I’ll be passing these blankets on to them in time for their next trip to Haiti. Thank you so much! You can see a picture of the blankets that will be heading to Haiti at our family blog: http://www.twiceblessedchinamom.blogspot.com
