Spring finally arrived and it’s a good time to see Boston from atop the Prudential Center. This month we joined a few other Boston area clusters for a visit to the Skywalk. We had a group of over 100 au pairs!
In April, our au pair cluster met a few other clusters and visited the skywalk. We had nice weather and amazing views of Boston.
We said good-bye to Lisa and Veronika and welcomed Natasha. For more photos go to skywalk.
This month we joined other Boston area au pair clusters for a visit to the Prudential Center Skywalk. 50 floors above Boston, we had a bird’s eye view of Boston’s Hancock Tower, Fenway Park, the Boston Common and Public Garden, the Esplanade and Hatch Shell, the Charles River, MIT, Harvard University, and countless other Boston landmarks. Au pairs also had the chance to use interactive exhibits which provided them with a real flavor of the city’s distinctive culture and neighborhoods. Multimedia players were provided detailing the city’s historic past and current sites.
Afterwards, we walked to Panera Bread and enjoyed food and conversation. We welcomed Erika from Italy to our cluster and said good-bye to Nhung and Aneta.

This month my au pair cluster joined two other local clusters for a visit to the Prudential Center Skywalk. From the 52nd floor, we enjoyed a 360 degree view of Boston and its surroundings.
We welcomed Madhvi, Jessica, Yann Ling and Jaqueline to our cluster. They were happy to meet and connect with other au pairs. It is nice to observe how they find their peer support during a time when they’re missing the one they left at home.
After our visit to the Skywalk, we gathered at Vapiano restaurant for some food and good conversations.

This month, we met another Boston area cluster for a visit to the Prudential Center Skywalk. Au pairs enjoyed the view from the 50th floor despite the fact that it was cloudy. Au pairs also learned a lot about Boston by using the audio tour device and reading up on Boston facts.
Afterwards, we walked over to Vapiano restaurant in the theater district. Counselors distributed a handout about spring activities, including child safety reminders. Each quarter, counselors hold a childcare/safety meeting with au pairs in an effort to ensure good quality childcare for their host families.

Last Sunday, on a beautiful sunny day, my au pairs joined other Au Pair in America clusters in the area for a visit to the Prudential Center Skywalk. Au Pairs enjoyed a bird’s eye view of Boston and the surrounding area and learned a lot about Boston’s history during the audio tour. Since the weather was so nice we had a great turnout and about 50 au pairs showed up. When we organize our meetings, we try to keep the cost down for the au pairs. Thanks to the Prudential Center Skywalk staff who got us a very affordable group rate!
