What a great evening we had watching a Detroit Tigers Baseball Game at Comerica Park!

IMG_0641 (400x300)Our All-American sport, baseball, was enjoyed by our group of over 100.   This photo (part of our group) was taken during the seventh-inning stretch, after we all sang the famous baseball song “Take me out to the Ball Park.  (There is a tradition that takes place between the halves of the 7th inning – we call it the seventh-inning stretch.  At that time, the fans stand and stretch their arms and legs and sometimes walk around)

Here are the words to the song:

Take me out to the ball game,
Take me out with the crowd;
Buy me some peanuts and Cracker Jack,
I don’t care if I never get back.
Let me root, root, root for the home team,
If they don’t win, it’s a shame.
For it’s one, two, three strikes, you’re out,
At the old ball game.
