The end of the American Football season!

This year’s game features the Denver Broncos vs. the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday, February 2, 2014 at the MetLife Stadium in the Meadowlands in New Jersey.

When: On TV, the Super Bowl XLVIII will play out live nationwide beginning at 5 pm on the FOX television network, with kickoff time set for 5:30 pm.

Where: Any sports bar, i.e. Fox and Hound, Buffalo Wild Wings, Hooters, The Ticket Sports Pub, etc.

History of the Super Bowl:
The Super Bowl is the annual championship game of the National Football League (NFL), which is the highest level of professional American football in the United States. This ends the football season that begins in the late summer of the previous calendar year.

Because of its high viewership and the high cost of investing in advertising on the Super Bowl, companies regularly develop their most expensive advertisements for this broadcast. Moreover, due to the exposure, several singers/bands have performed during the pre-game and halftime ceremonies.

Needless to say, the Super Bowl is a pretty big deal here in the U.S.!! It’s a day where everybody gets together to watch the game (AND the commercials), eat some great food, and spend some quality time with friends and family.
