Gwen Remy

Welcome! My name is Gwen, I was born and raised in France, and came to the US as an au pair in 2002. A couple of years later I came back to the US to study. I graduated from George Mason University in 2009 and have lived in Northern Virginia since 2005.

I joined the Au Pair in America team as a Counselor in 2013. I have also been a part of our Orientation Team since 2014. About once a month, I get to travel to Connecticut for a couple of days to train a new group of au pairs arriving in the US.  I have seen thousands of au pairs go through their training at orientation and I have helped hundreds of au pairs and host families have a successful year together.

My personal and professional experience serves both host families and au pairs well and I am looking forward to sharing that experience with you and making your time with APIA wonderful.
