Our February Cluster meeting was full of yummy king cake, meeting Alee’s mother and discussion about choking prevention for children. We also had a nice time learning about the history of Mardi Gras and answering questions regarding the program.

The Au Pairs met at Coffee Call and experienced Beignets (French Donuts-a popular Louisiana sweet treat) and played several fun holiday games while exchanging gifts. They had a great time connecting and bonding over food and fun!
Our November cluster meeting was a cultural experience for our Au Pairs. They visited Nottoway Plantation in White Castle, Louisiana. The Au Pairs were able to tour the beautiful grounds with a costumed tour guide and enjoy the scenery afterwards. It was a gorgeous day!
The Au Pairs enjoyed a pumpkin decorating activity with apple cider, apple strudels, and yummy pumpkin spice donuts. We had a discussion about the tradition of Halloween in the US and went over Halloween & Trick-or-Treat child safety.
