| Dear Au Pair, As you plan your travels throughout your year, we encourage everyone to check the U.S. Department of State website (state.gov) for current travel safety advisories before traveling internationally. You can also sign up for the STEP system to get alerts for specific countries. This type of alert may be available through other country embassies as well, and we encourage au pairs to check with your home country’s embassy site. Otherwise, the US alert system has a “guest” sign up. Prior to departing, we also recommend checking directly with your airline and departure/arrival airports to travel to confirm there are no delays, cancellations, or temporary closures that could affect your itinerary. |
