HI there, I am Paul Kostecki, your Local Community Counselor (LCC or CC).
I was born in Katowice, Poland, and grew up in Meerbusch, Germany. I spend my senior year as an exchange student in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. After graduating high school I travelled to most countries in Europe (Italy, Spain, France, England, Netherlands, England, Denmark, Austria, Croatia and the Czech Republic). I studied at the Art Academy of Krakow in Poland, then transferred to San Jose State to complete my Product Design degree. I have now been in the Bay Area for just under 33 years.
I’ve been working as an Information Technology consultant/tutor as well as a relocation specialist, placing families from abroad and helping them through culture shock and home sickness.
I became a CC for APIA in 2022 and I have enjoyed bringing families and Au Pairs together, as well as successfully resolving conflicts and mitigating rematches.
