WOW!  All I can say about the wonderful afternoon of cultural exchange at the Au Pair in America Cultural Fair held Sunday at the Bethesda Chevy Chase Rescue Squad in Bethesda.

Twenty-one countries and over 100 Au Pairs participated in this event coordinating the clusters of DC, Bethesda, Gaithersburg, Potomac, Frederick, Rockville, Urbana, N. Potomac, etc.

Au Pairs set up tables representing each country (now they are ready to share country information with schools and other groups who need them) with music, food, posters and even an English tea service.

Performances were simply amazing!!  Bolivian dancers stunned us all with their incredibly energetic and colorful performance, Thai dancers presented delicate and synchronized movements, Brazil gave us Samba as well as folk songs accompanied by guitar, Colombian Au Pairs danced a well rehearsed routine of their own, Ukraine representatives sang some traditional folk songs in Russian.
