Friday nights with your friends from around the globe sometimes look like this! For some it was their first bowl and for everyone it was an opportunity to come together and chill after a long week with their American kids.
Please excuse the springtime pun in the title, but it’s gorgeous out with budding trees and we had a wonderful night as a global community of buds. We practiced English and made new friends while trying out a new sport for some of us. A great Friday night learning an American tradition.
Great night bowling with so many au pairs. Making new friends and speaking only in English was the challenge and they were up for it…along with learning a new sport for many. This crew was competitive and encouraging and this CC enjoyed watching it all.
Au Pair In America au pairs show off their bowling skills at the Real Networks employee bowling lanes in downtown Seattle. The countries of Costa Rica, the Netherlands, Thailand, Mexico, the Ukraine represented their nations quite well. Thanks to our host mom in Burien for offering up the space!
