Here is a step by step breakdown of our placement process – from your application to your au pair’s arrival.

Apply to Host an Au Pair
Start the matching process by applying to host an au pair. The application is free and takes minutes to complete. In order to expedite this process, our team recommends that you submit a host family essay and photos with your application.

Access to Database
Next, you’ll have access to our state-of-the-art database. The database is totally free and offers an array of educative resources, as well as easy access to view au pair profiles. From here, you can search for au pairs from a variety of countries, find au pairs with certain skill sets, and contact au pairs directly.

Introduction and Placement Consultation
After your Placement Coordinator reviews your application, they will contact you to welcome you to the program and discuss the process further.
We will also notify you so that you can schedule a placement consultation. Have a busy schedule? Not a problem – a member on our placement staff is typically available for a consult 7 days a week, including some holidays!

Placement Coordinator Support
While you can reach out to au pairs directly and on your own through our database, our Placement Coordinators are here to support you every step of the way. They’ll select applications for you to review and serve as advisors to help find the best match based on your family’s specific needs and preferences. Every person on our team works together to deliver a top-notch matching experience.

Find Your Perfect Match
When you find your perfect au pair match, you will select her arrival date. Then, we will process the match, send you a confirmation packet, and start preparing your au pair for arrival.

Post Placement Support
Our staff is incredibly knowledgeable, flexible, and ready to answer any and all questions you have. Even after you’ve found your perfect match, we’ll continue to offer support and be here to answer all your questions.
