Here at Au Pair in America, we build things: cultural bridges, relationships, and so much more. So, in the spirit of building, we asked our community to participate in a unique challenge for LEGO Day!

“Everything is awesome! Me and Luki had so much fun building this together. He built the ship and I built the harbour. Please notice the people, they’re workers that make the ship ready to take off and then the person that goes in the ship! It’s a trip to Antarctica to study the animals there. He learned so much about Antarctica in school, that’s why he wanted to build that! He’s such a smart little boy, often he just uses his imagination to build things, one time he built a bus so his sisters Hatchimos could drive around. As well as I know no one who loves building LEGO’s like Luki does, he’s so passionate about this. And always when you ask what he wishes for the answer would be a new LEGO set and he would always be so happy (well if he’s not having this set already 😄).”

“We built a house (‘My Host families house’) and an airplane where I’m sitting in. It was actually Danny’s idea to make that😊 I asked him what he would like to build when he thinks of me being his Au Pair and he said: ‘My Victoria came with an airplane, so we should make one.’ I thought that was really cute 😊”
