Last Sunday our cluster participated with cluster from the greater Boston area in the Walk for Hunger, a community event to raise money for the hungry people in MA.

For our April cluster meeting we went to the top of the Prudential center to enjoy the view all over Boston at fantastic weather conditions. We had a great view on this sunny Sunday when the streets in Boston downtown were busy with the many people who enjoyed the city as well.

Laur and Petra received today their certificate for finishing their 6 credits during the aupairs year and Jessy received her "I love Boston" T-shirt for winning in our last snowman contest.
For our March cluster meeting we met at a local library to listen to our Trek America guide who offers for our aupairs a 20% discount on group trips within the US. This is a great way for our aupairs to explore in a fun way more of our United States of America.

We had several aupairs who received today their certificate of completion of their education part that is part of the aupair program.
Andrea from Colombia, Ivonee from Mexico, Veronika from Germany, Gaelle from France and Tami from Germany all finished the education part with 6 credits during one aupair year.
Caren from Namibia won a T-shirt for winning at our last snowman contest with her first build snowman ever.
We had a wonderful fun time to jump one hour in this indoor place together.
Our monthly cluster meetings are a great support for aupairs to socialize and to make friends. We could welcome three new aupairs in our cluster: Gaelle from France, Lisa from Austria and Liv from Germany.

Gianin from Germany received her education satisfaction certificate after being done with all her required 12 credits during her year as an Educare aupair
Jessy also reached her required 6 credits in the aupair standart program and is now able to apply for her extension time here with her current hostfamily in Brookline
Kate from Slovakia also received her education satisfaction certificate and started her second year as an aupair already with her hostfamily in Chestnut Hill

We had wonderful snowmen participating in our snowman contest. Everybody who met the requirements to participate in this competition won in our 2014 aupair snowman contest……………………….And the winners are:

Last Sunday we enjoyed the spirit of the holidays by watching the Nutcracker ballet at the Boston opera house and a get together at a downtown restaurant afterwards.
We welcomed Lauren from South Africa and said good byes to Amy-Louise who will return home to South Africa soon after being an aupair for 1.5 years in Brookline
Last Sunday we met to play laser tag at our November cluster meeting.
In between fun games we had time to talk , chat, eat and discuss our quarterly safety agenda: Driving with kids in the car

During the meeting we discussed the upcoming meetings, holidays and introduced all new aupairs to our cluster.

In between cluster meetings I meet my aupairs occasionally for coffee meetings at different places to discuss education opportunities, extension guidelines and to chat with each other.
