U.S. GOVERNMENT
Learn Through Schoolhouse Rock!
According to Wikipedia, “Schoolhouse Rock! is an American interstitial programming series of animated musical educational short films (and later, videos) that aired during the Saturday morning children’s programming on the U.S. television network ABC [in the 1970’s and 80’s.] The topics covered included grammar, science, economics, history, mathematics, and civics.”
For most Generation X adults, SchoolHouse Rock represents a happy childhood memory and the early base of their learning on the topics listed above. If you say to most people who grew up in the US in the 70’s and 80’s “Conjunction, Conjunction” they will respond with the next line: “What’s your function?”
