Kate Finlay Zimmerman is a Community Counselor located in Sunny California who lives with her wife and son in the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains just north of Los Angeles.  She joined APIA after 15 years in Human Resources, including specialization in Recruitment, Management Coaching, and Employee Relations.  In her career she has worked for companies in several different industries, but has a special fondness for efficient non-profits.  Kate has a BS in Child Psychology, as well as an Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) Certification.  Serving as a Community Counselor allows her to be at home with her young son in the afternoons and to work as a leader in his school’s PTO.  Kate has been with APIA since April of 2017.
