We at Au Pair in America are so proud and excited to announce that one of our amazing au pairs, Rozelle from South Africa, has won the prestigious International Au Pair Association (IAPA) Au Pair of the Year award!
Rozelle is no stranger to awards. Nominated by her host family for our own 2018 Au Pair of the Year contest, she recently took home one of the top prizes. Her host family’s glowing and heartfelt description of her impact on their lives and her excellent care for their daughter, Alana, made it clear that Rozelle is truly a remarkable young woman.
Here’s what Rozelle had to say about receiving the IAPA Au Pair of the Year Award:
“I am greatly honored to have won this award. Of course, this isn’t just all me. It takes a small village to take care of Alana. Together with her mom, dad, teachers and other caregivers, we make a great team to make her the best Alana that she can be. I also have the best support structure back home and without my whole family this wouldn’t have been possible. A special thanks go to my mom, dad and sister that believed in me since day one and always encourage me to strive and be better.”
