DC Regional Cultural Exchange Expo

Please join us for a chance to learn about more than 20 different countries in one day.

 

Au pairs from across DC, Maryland and Virginia will share their cultures through visual displays, games, activities and performances. Children will receive passports and have them stamped as they visit each country. There will also be face painting, children’s activities, photo booth and more.

Admission is FREE.

KIDS Bowl for Zip, Zero, Zilch!
This summer, your children 15 and under can bowl for free at your local AMF. Sound too good to be true? It’s not! Just register your children for two free games per child per day all summer long. Children love bowling; it’s fun, active, social and local and – best of all – it’s FREE! That’s how AMF does summer!
Free bowling is available until 8 pm daily. AMF Summer is going on now through September 2.
Note: Bowling shoe rentals are not included.

Amelia Earhart became the first person, man or woman, to fly solo across the pacific. Another famous flight was her nonstop solo flight across the Atlantic in 1932, the first for a woman.
