- Maryland Science Center in Baltimore
- Smithsonian Museum of Natural History
- Smithsonian Air & Space Museum
- Smithsonian Udvar-Hazy Center
Videos – On YouTube, you can find many great videos with science experiments designed for kids.

Movies – The Lego Movie, Big Hero 6, Wall-E, and Hidden Figures all fit the STEM theme. (Always check with your host parents first, as some of these movies are rated PG or PG-13.)
Books – Common Sense Media’s list of 13 Cool STEM Books for Kids Who Love Science (and More) has lots of great suggestions, including Ada Twist, Scientist, The Animal Book, and The Curious World of Calpurnia Tate.
